LanthanumNickel Cobaltite (LNC) is a high conductivity material that typically is usedas a cathode contact paste (to improve cathode current collection) in Solid OxideFuel Cell (SOFC) stacks. LNC also can be used for the same purpose insingle-cell SOFC testing. Compared to lanthanum strontium cobaltite, LNC hasbetter thermal stability, lower thermal expansion and equivalent electricalconductivity. LNC also can be considered as a cathode material, when mixed withone of our ceria-based electrolyte powders (GDC or SDC).
