Hydrex Composite membranes are ultra-thin, highlyselective, and highly permeable reinforced membranes based on a proprietarypolyamine polymer. The reinforcement layer is a porous substrate integratedinto the structure of the membrane to provide enhanced mechanical properties.The enhanced mechanical properties allow the Hydrex membranes to be producedmuch thinner than standard extruded membranes, providing higher permeability ofpolar compounds without sacrificing strength. The Hydrex membranes can be usedin applications where high thermal and chemical stability are not required.This includes applications such as conditioning of air and non-corrosive gases.
Xion WEM-Hydrex-200-30 pervaporation membrane has athickness of 30 micrometers and it can be safely used for low temperatureelectrochemical or non-electrochemical applications that require non-corrosivegas conditioning such as humidification or dehumidification. This productis currently supplied in the planar sheet forms.
