Chemours'(formerly DuPont) Nafion N-324 is a perfluorosulfonic acid cation exchangemembrane combining outstanding chemical resistance with a strongpolytetrafluoroethylene fiber reinforcement. It is recommended for use inchloroalkali production and a variety of electrolytic processes. Nafion-324 is0.28mm (0.011in) thick.

Form

Nafion N-324 is shipped in the "DRY" H+ form. "DRY"H+ membranes require simple pre-treatment in alkaline water. Refer toNafion Technical Bulletin No. 93-01 for "DRY" H+ membranepretreatment.

PleaseNote: The side marked CATH must be installed facing the cathode,otherwise, the membranes will be irreversibly damaged in use. If yourmembrane is not marked simply feel/look at both sides of the membrane, thesmoother/glossier side will be the cathode side.
